 PORT Elizabeth has joined the campaign to ring bells every weekday at noon to call people to pray against violence.

 Jericho Walls is encouraging all intercessors in South Africa to participate in a 120 Days of Prayer for Revival in our Land (from 17 January to 16 May 2007).

• CIVIL UNION BILL VOTE: A DAY OF SHAME
 Today, 14 November 2006, the National Assembly debated and voted to pass the Civil Union Bill. ChristianView Network director said "The Bill is an insult to marriage and a trashing of democracy. It will open the door for more attacks on morality, religious freedom and children's rights. This is a day of shame for South Africa."

• CITY HALL PRAYER MEETINGS
 We have at last been given permission to hold regular prayer meetings in the Nelson Mandela Metropole City Hall Auditorium. It is our intention to hold an OPEN prayer meeting, run by businesspersons of the NM Bay, each Monday morning from 07.00 to 07.30.

• THOUSANDS MARCH TO UPHOLD THE BIBLICAL DEFINITION OF MARRIAGE
 Thousands of Christians in Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, Bloemfontein and Port Elizabeth marched under the banner of the Marriage Alliance in support of the Biblical definition of marriage - as being between one man and one woman, for life.
