TCN UPDATE - MAY 2008

1. We participated in the National Institute for Reformation of South Africa (NIRSA) Conference in Boksburg on 22/23 April 2007 initiated by Michael Cassidy and Moss Ntha.(See TCN Website for Declaration of Intent.)

2. NM Bay 9.2.5. Workplace Ministry to be launched on a metrowide basis.

3. Super 14 Breakfast held on 8 May discussed the following topics: NM Bay Christian Newspaper; Progress of Youth Leadership Network Office & Staff; YLN, TCN, local church and schools partnership youth strategy.

4. Participating with Famsa in conceptual stage of metrowide family project.

5. Emmanuel Haven Farms received an additional R2.1m from metro and provincial governments to extend tunnels, erect a packhouse and commence family tunnels project. (Tours of Emmanuel Haven on Wednesdays and Fridays.)

6. Global Day of Prayer successfully held at 15 venues and 1 radio station.

7. Up to date 40 Churches are participating in the metro-wide 24/7 Prayer Initiative.

8. First “values” course being conducted at Ebenezer Centre.
